Linda attended both Western Michigan University and Auburn University as an art major. After several years of raising two sons, and home sewing, she directed her creativity into quilt making in the early 1980's. Initially self-taught, ala trial and error, she later benefited from lectures, seminars and classes at the American Quilter's Society shows in Paducah, Kentucky.
She has taught a “Quilting Basics” class through the Auburn University Outreach Program. She is a charter member of the Cotton Boll Quilt Guild of Auburn, having served as president for one year. A subject of biological record in “Who's Who in American Quilting” First Edition-1996.
She has been a member of Studio 222, a fiber art group, since 2000.
Linda and her husband Fred currently reside in Lee County, Alabama.
